What exactly is culture shock? I've heard this phrase bandied about pretty much my entire life, but I've never experienced it. I started off in Baltimore ([i]Charm City, hon![i]), and when I came down here, there was more trees than I was used to, and I was concerned about hitting animals, but other than that there was not too much of an adjustment - certainly nothing that could be described as shock! :eek:
When I went to NoCal, It was not that dissimilar from Baltimore. Or, say Glen Bernie.
I'm just wondering, basically, what are the symptoms of "Culture Shock"?
