Anyone who runs for public office has to first realise that in politics ,nothing is personal.
Endorsements as well as criticism are not personal. When endorsements are given they are thought out and given when the organisation giving the endorsement feels they will get the most for their organisation out of the candidate they endorse.
In other words "What can you do for me".
Sounds a bit selfish doesnt it? But thats the way it works.
As for Charles and St. Mary's teachers endorsing Whitbeck I really cant see where they stand to gain anything. She hasnt got a snowball's chance in hell of winning, she is a nut who runs for something every year and loses, and they would come out much better endorsing Kermit the Frog. |
