Actually it's not the county commissioners who have caused the property taxes to go up. In fact it's the "gimme, gimme, gimme" of residentofcre's THE PEOPLE who are causing the taxes to go up. Unless the commissioners are sitting on some huge budget surplus, which I doubt, the increased taxes are going to cover the increased spending demands of THE PEOPLE. When THE PEOPLE get all spun up about wanting more cops and teachers, or the need to pay these people more, they often forget that there's a price that has to be paid to meet those demands, which mean you either give up stuff or raise taxes... and most of THE PEOPLE don't want to give up anything.
