Charlie Donnelly has taken NO fees from Tiki Bar nor has he represented them in any way shape or form as it would have been a conflict of interest. Nor has he been "preaching" that they be forgiven for any violations. What he has said all along is that they should be treated "equally" which means one set of rules for all and that is where this county is failing. It's no secret that I am a Charlie Donnelly supporter and it's because of his honesty, integrity and the true "what you see is what you get" type of person. As far as donations are concerned the Tiki Bar did give him a donation, but it was no way over half of his campaign funds, but also notice who he is NOT taking money from as opposed to some of the other candidates.
Any one interested in any of the candidates finances can get them either from the Election Board or from the individual candidates. Some are posted online but some are not, don't know why that is. I know Charlie Donnelly's were turned in on time.
Obviously Luthersomd has an issue with lawyers (wonder why) and instead of taking the time to get his/her facts straight but would rather give a personal opinion based on his suppositions and obvious lack of the truth. |
The facts are in his Campaign Finance Report. Why don't you just put it on here, since you seem to have access to it and you know it was filed timely. Believe me its on the street and it clearly shows that the Tiki Bar and there family members are the biggest contributors. Donnelly has consistently preached that the "Tiki Bar" was not being treated equaly with others. Why doesn't he give examples? He also talks about dark conspiracies that are controlling county government,etc. What are they?
As to why hes not accepting donations from certain people etc, Its because they are not offering him any!!
