Pete, I agree with you 1000%....BUT...(and I've been a born and bred GOP participant from the moment I could spell poloticks
)... how do we go from doing the right thing to finding the right people that can make sure that happens? I have never in my life voted Democrat (God rest my mother's soul for me even thinking otherwise)....but I just don't see McKay, and this Wood guy (29B for me) as being anyone who epitomizes what the Republicans need to carry on in any of the situations you've described... it's service...not self-service.
