Savage will call Barbara Walters, professional media person, a traitorous, lying whore for her powder puff interview with Hugo Chavez, a decidedly anti US world figure. He would not, out of the blue, call a bunch of college basketball players 'nappy headed ho's'. He does not just insult people for the hell of it, a la Imus, for whom this truly is SOP. He, Savage, attacks people for a reason, for something they've done.
And Limbaugh will say Donovan McNabb is only hyped because he is black. That may be somewhat disparaging to Donovans talent, a professional NFL player and public figure, but it is not even close to what Imus said and who it said it about. Sharpton, a Democrat media darling please remember, alluding to a bunch of college kids at Duke being rapists is far closer to the mark than Limbaugh or Savage.
So, this is further illustrative of the ugly side of liberals; They can't take the heat, publicly, so they boycott Fox and won't even allow DEBATE. They can't take the heat from a Savage or Limbaugh as Air America crashes and burns, but they can sure attack any and every one who has caused them to be so tongue tied with their own agendas and words.
