It really does work my way and not that way. God is on everybody's side and so it does not matter how "just and holy" or how Christian one acts because we all fall short.
Thus by following the commandments then we can know that I am on God's side and not that God picks sides. We get to pick God.
So when they murder babies and murder prisoners and I quote the command of "Thou shalt not murder" then I am on God's side and the others are not.
And when the gov steals child support as it regularly does, and I preach the command of "Thou shalt not steal" then that makes me on God's side and the others are not.
That is the way it works.
