All cats and dogs need to be spayed and neutered. Even if they don't belong to me if they visit me often enough, eat the food I put out, sleep on my porch or in my barns and there's no form of identification, they'll find themselves in a carrier on the way to the vet and coming out different boys and girls.  Every "barn" cat I now own was a package left on my doorstep or found under a building. A quick trip to the vet and they became "my" barn cats. Oddly enough, I haven't found a new package in over 6 years.  |
