Blame (growth) on the State or on the County Commissioners when it is Hoyer doing the dirty works by Hoyer's own words
|
The people of St. Mary's County have the highest amount of input into the growth. Make housing unaffordable, and people won't come regardless of the jobs. Make crime skyrocket, and people won't want to live here. Make traffic, schools, water, and other infrastructure grow slower than the population growth, and people won't want to be here.
So, see, the Commissioners are doing all of these things, just not strongly enough. They clearly don't want the growth, because they're not providing the infrastructure for the growth that is occuring. You could run for a county position, and have more power to block growth than you could on the federal level.

Never lost a job, never came up short for rent, never even one hard day. |

You're upset that he's been a responsible citizen his whole life?
And, you're running for a job that you refer to as no "real job at all"? Just what exactly are your expectations in the snowball's chance in hell potential that you win even a primary, let alone an election? Do you think that being a representative of the people is no "real job at all"?
And, with that attitude, you expect to develop supporters?

And, this is why you want a job while pulling in phony disability payments?

I see, you believe that you would not have to represent the people of your district, you would be "the lawmaker", regardless of public sentiment. At least, it seems it must be that way, since you can clearly tell your concept of right and wrong is very different from those who would be your constituents, yet you would do things your way instead of theirs anyway.
