Let me reiterate for the thickies here. Collins Bailey had to buy his way onto the school board in Charles County after nearly getting stomped out in the primary round. That does not indicate a groundswell of support for him in the region's second most populous county.
The point I was making was not that Bailey is or is not committed to running against Hoyer. It is that he is hardly a fed-class candidate. And now he
seems to have gone AWOL since his announcement, so maybe I need to make the point that he is just sacrificial lambing at this point.
