| I got an Armstrong oil furnace, the basic one it is 80% efficient and a Carrier Heat Pump with a SEER of 13 and a HSPF of 9.
Oil furnaces don't go much above 80%, I was a bit surprised by this.
Its so much more comfortable and less dusty in here. The old oil furnace had a really cheezy air filter but my new one has a Honeywell F100 that uses a 4 inch thick filter.
I try to stay away from the electronic air cleaners since my moms has had nothing but trouble. |
