True, Vrai. (redundant eh?) Jesus is saying that there are certain times when we should give to others from our abundance. He also says that there is a time when we should fight to protect our home & family. (Exodus 22 v 2, Matthew 12 v 29 & Luke 11 v 21).

There is a difference between revenge and protecting our family & self. Revenge is usually done after the wrong & protection is usually done during or before the wrong.

Look up war in your concordance and you'll see it a few times. God doesn't like war but He knows it's a necessary evil.
