This begs the question, does Nickelodeon have an obligation to cancel her show because of the potential message young Miss Spears, and indirectly the network may be perceived in sending? Somehow I do not think that a "Very Special Episode" of "Zoey 101" is in the making.  |
Disney has always tried to be "family friendly." They have always had morality clauses in their contracts. They don't want a reputation for exploiting their kid stars and leading them astray or letting them run amok.
I don't know if Nick has the same deal. They can't fire the girl without it, but if ratings decline over it they can cancel the show.
