What's really implausible? I just briefly perused Marie's "Countering the Critics" site and read their explanation for the Star of Bethlehem. They proposed three scientific explanations then said that none of them were sufficient. Therefore, this occurence must have been "temporary and supernatural", never seen before and never seen since. Such "supernatural" events seemed to have happened daily several thousand years ago, but not so much anymore. I find that peculiar, to say the least.

Needn't go that far; flying on any commercial jetliner will allow you to see the earth's curvature.

I had a beautiful view of it when I flew into London at dawn several years ago.
