| No one has addressed another big factor in fuel prices. The restrictions (prohibitions?) on drilling in ANWR and off the US coastline. Can anyone tell me when the last oil refinery was built in the US? (I have no idea.) Delaware residents voted "nay" to an offshore windmill farm that would have provided a fair chunk of "free" energy b/c even @ 5 miles offshore they figured an unobstructed view was worth more than lower energy costs.
So remember these things when your local/state/federal reps are begging for your vote. |
