We flew last week and this week. My wife has ear rings and a belly ring. none of those set off the metal detector. The women in the story should have read the TSA warnings before traveling. BTW, what are those new contraptions that people have to walk through now where you get a series of air bursts shot around you? They didn't have them when we flew last August but they had them at DCA and MIA last week and this week.
