What about the 18 year old, who has sex with the 17 year old in Florida? They are registered sex offenders? A detective in St. Mary's County told me about a couple who are married. When the guy was 17, he had sex with the girl who was 13. The guy was charged as an adult due to the nature of the crime. They are now 27 and 23, married with a child. But this guy has to remain on the sex offender registry for the rest of his life. both of the above were consensual.
I'm all for monitoring, de-balling, de-dicking sex offenders...but shouldn't we use more common sense?
