The fight with Mookie's Militia has been a long time coming and the sooner it and any other militia is defanged the sooner Iraq can stabilize. Mookie is already calling for another truce, he knows he can't stand against the new Iraq army and its US ally. The fact he's being ignored by his own militia says a lot about his actual clout. This is quite possibly the endgame in Iraq's struggle for democracy.
