I would NOT suggest the Tropicana. I stayed there once and the room completely grossed me out. The mattress was sunken in the middle, the carpet was filthy, the tile in bathroom was old and cracked. I complained and they upgraded me ....... it wasnt any better!
On a positive note, they do have a fabulous cuban restaurant that serves some yummy Mojitos
