Actually, taking the District back has some merit. We avoid granting them two Senators and a Representative (Maryland would probably increase by one Representative) to avoid a sure lock on the Congress by the Dumocrats. We could impose some law on the District by allowing the State Troopers to enforce the laws rather than the 'bruthas' in the DCPD. We could finally impose some logic in the running of the schools.
All thie presupposes the voters in Maryland finally wake up and elect a grown-up legislature and guvnor.
