Unless I could go back in time and live trough the Roman Empire or the Italian Renaissance. Then I would do that instead.
As for watching your loved ones die and being essentially alone for two hundred years, I've watched a dozen die in ten and more are sure to come. Loss is inevitable and pain is a necessary evil for the human experience.  |
So have I, but there's a difference between losing a number, and losing all. How many times would you get close to someone, to watch them die, before you refused to do it again?
