| Watch what you ask for... I've seen one loved one spend the last 8 years of her life completely bedridden from a stroke. I've seen one out-live 4 of her 6 children. I've seen several others spend years in a room in an old folks home watching the clock and waiting for the end. And most all that live near or into triple digit ages are suffering health-wise in someway.
This leaves something to be said for going out with your last words being "Hold my beer..." |
