No, I don't hate men, I hate the comment that Men Love Long Hair as if our entire lives are devoted to constantly pleasing the opposite sex. I have had LONG HAIR as well, but for women who want to cut it and are afraid of what OTHERS will think...namely MEN, and now obviously women too, they shouldn't allow their hair to define them as women. "It's too short, I'll look butch, people might think I'm gay" blah, blah, blah. Long hair is beautiful, when kept nice, but change is also nice. A lot of people are afraid of change. Shorter hair is more upkeep true, but it can be a nice change for someone who might be looking for a new look. I think the Katie Holmes look is darling and I would never discourage someone from taking a leap if they feel they really want to give it a try.
