Yes. That is one of the exact reasons. "Deviant" lifestyles? Are you for real? I stand up for what I believe in too. And I believe in Jesus. And I am going to heaven because I am a good person. If religious means judging people and using a book to judge another good human being, than I want none of it. And preaching hatred to me will not change my mind. I will not hate people for who they are.



I am not perfect. But I strive to be a good person. I want to be proud of what I do in this life. And from what I learned, being Catholic is not the way for me to be the best person I can be. It is the exact opposite. The older I get the more I dislike it. The gay issue is really a deal breaker for me. I have family and friends that happen to be gay. They are great people that wouldn't judge you. But you go right ahead and use the Bible to cause hurt and pain.
