Suggest you not put dog food out on deck..otherwise all the wild ones will be there chowing down adn leaving a huge mess!!!
It is normal to see raccoons in later afternoon and early evenings..this time of year, mommas have babies and she goes out to look for food when she can!!

O.K., thanks! BTW - we don't normally leave the dog food out. It was put out for kitchen cleaning and then we didn't bring it back inside promptly. Pretty amazing that the coons could find the dogfood in a tupperware container that quickly...
It's very tempting to put the food back out there to lure them back in because they were so darned cute, but I know it's a bad idea. I'll try to remember to post some pics when I get home.
