See... based on the info provided, I am inclined to agree with you because my immediate thought would be that the parent(s) don't wish harm on their child and they should be given the opportunity to deal with this on their own. I don't understand what the masses expect CPS to do other than snatch up the kid(s) and place them in foster care.
