I have been dealing with this myself. I would have NEVER talked to my parents the way my 10 year old is talking to me. I am at my wits end and don't know what else to do. She is so good sometimes and other times she reminds me why animals eat their young.
The worst part is when I try to discipline her, she threatens to call the cops or run away. What do you do then? I told her to call the cops: Three hots and a cot and away from a mouthy kid...sounds like heaven to me.
