| Well I dont know if this is what Obama is saying or not, but if it is , it doesnt surprise me much.
In actuality its another promise he cant keep. You see the President of the United States doesnt make state laws. State laws which require minimum sentences cannot be changed by the President, and even federal laws require passage by lawmakers, not the President.
One has to wonder if the EEOC starts investigating discrimination will they investigate evidence where whites have been passed over in favor of blacks in reverse discrimination. Affirmative Action is, in and of itself a form of discrimination. Does this mean he will end it?
The death penalty has once again been allowed by the Supreme Court and Obama cannot over rule that court.
Unless one is living on another planet I believe we can safely assume that Obama will push an agenda that is pretty much in line with his religious and racial background, how much he can accomplish is another thing. How much of it will be done fairly and without racial bias is again another situation.
One would hope the next President would do what is best for the country as a whole and not spend their time and effort on a racial crusade.America has too many other problems and doesnt need to be tied down in a racially divisive scenario.
Americans must use their best Judgement in electing the next President.
I believe the fact that 90% of blacks in North Carolina and Indiana voted for Obama should tell Americans what the black voter believes.
My best Judgement at this time tells me to vote for John Mccain. |
