What that paortion of the demographic is searching for is an articulate, positive, decent...younger version of Bill Cosby.---and although they might be in Obama's camp for now, I don't know how deep their loyalty lies.
Well all I know is that I see plenty of support when Sharpton or Jackson call for a march or a protest, but a couple years back when Cosby made a challenge to the black community to get things changed and stop acting the "victim" he was blasted by alot of blacks.

It is the same reason IMHO that the black community votes almost exclusvely (D). They know the dems will pander to them and although it seems at face value that dems will do more for them, in the long run it is just keeping them in the place they have been in society for a while now. If we would stop pandering to them, they would have to get themselves on their own two feet and then become truely equal.

That is why I stand by my belief that in general democrats are more racists than republicans.
