Notice when something is happening in the "African American community" they never interview an intelligent black professional, or even a middle-class normal black person? They always get the most ignorant, illiterate ghetto person they can find to comment.
And I think that's the most interesting part of racial whatever. Punks and thugs come in all colors, and granted blacks are overrepresented in the prison population. But I'm curious how much our pop culture and the perpetuated stereotypes contribute to that. |
