I can't imagine the parents are doing more than rushing the kid to make a choice. That is, if there is a choice to be made.
I don't get why this has to become a public affair! The kid could be scarred for life and labeled a freak.
I knew a transsexual years ago and it's not an easy life to live. I feel bad for this kid. The parents need their genitalia placed in a sock so they can beat themselves in the head until they STFU.
