During any other election I would agree with you. But there is a lot of anti-black resentment on the Dem side, and a ton of anti-McCain resentment on the Republican side. Then you also have the greeners with Nader hoping to show an alternative to the Democrats. So for this election, I can see someone like Barr having an excellent shot at winning, especially when running with a confirmed party.
