Went to Best Buy also. Wanted the Nikon Cool pix 8mp. They said it was also discontinued, but the Waldorf store had one. Just happened to be in Target the next weekend and the identical camera was there, in stock, $30cheaper.
Only extra I had to buy was the memory card. I can take something like 700 pictures with the 2 gig card.
