| There is PRIDE (Parent Resources for Information, Development, and Education) training that is offered in every county, if anyone is interested, contact your local department of social services.
As a side note the State of Maryland is really in need of foster parents and is now even offering a "recruitment bonus" for current foster parents who can sign on new families. And I think they are begining ot offer "foster parties" - you know like Tupperware parties, you invite over all your friends and a worker comes to your home to give everyone all the information they will need to begin the process. |
