Another article that came up stated that global warming has been happening since 1950. How is that if in 1974 the earth had been cooling for 30 years. They self contradict themselves alot.
Here is the article i was refering to, its not just time magazine its journalism in general. Our society is driven by money, i see Gore as one of the best scam artist of our time. He preaches going green, using less energy, using new ways to make energy. Yet gore is the biggest hypocrite in history, he uses more energ in a month than some households use in a year, he flies in private jets, fleets of SUV's to preach his crap. Yet his followers cant see past the crap he spews to see that he doesnt practice what he preaches. I know he puts money into all these ways to find alternative energy, does that make up for the amount of carbon he emits on his own. It must be easy to put money into things when its not your money to spend. BMI Special Report -- Fire and Ice |
What you miissed in the
TIME article was the line about higher temps at the equator. Any data since the 1950s (or 1970s) has to be less valid than today's, don't you think?
(BMI is a firm proponent of the "no limits to growth" dogma; that the same one as cancer follows.) There's no question that journalists get confused by these complicated issues. And they are tasked to condense vast piles of data & results into something the average dummy can understand. Thankfully some journalists do balance the "two" sides. For example, someone from the IPCC should get more coverage than the amateur fossil-hunter in WV. And you can't believe that there is NO dissenting opinion published, just look at the OISM crap and Singer & Michaels.
Al Gore uses more energy than you. He also voluntarily pays extra to get it from renewable sources which helps the renewable industry get going. He also buys carbon offset credits. So how is it not his money to spend?
