I had a roller cam for mine that had just arrived (already Paid for) that would have let me run it up to almost 8 grand instead of the valves floating at 5 grand, the day that came in, I cut a telephone pole in half with the side of the car.. needless to say,,,,,
anyway, the engine and trans ended up in a friends 64 nova. being a lighter car he was turning high 10s, low 11s with it at Capital raceway.
