It's not all that bad, you get used to it. Restaurant's aren't bad to work at, you just have to find the right one. I love working where I do. Base pay as cooks isn't all that bad, depending on what kind of bills you have. I pay for my car, gas, insurance, car repairs, phone bill, as well as everything else I need/want.
Everything around here is hit or miss, I haven't really found anything inbetween. Being 18 and a student I am not quite looking for anything to start my career just yet, just getting a job is mainly what I was concerned about.
