We just moved here last August and hubby & I both love it here. We'll be here for a really long time. I have no desire to move back to city life. Hubby swore to all my family & friends that he was going to get me to live in the country once we got married. Everyone, including me, laughed and said he was crazy. Well, here we are. I grew up in NY, lived in DC for 2 years and he got this city girl to give country living a chance. I'm glad he did. I'll admit, I don't have any sort of "redneck" or "hick" in my blood and don't think I ever will but it's great living here. I'm starting to get used to getting stuck behind tractors on the roads, hearing "Ya'll" everyday and people shooting off guns to celebrate holidays.
Anyone who doesn't like it here should leave. There are no excuses, there's always a way to move if you hate where you live. Nobody can FORCE anyone to live someplace they don't want to unless they are too young to work and make their own money.
