I'd have believed anyone running for President on their promises if they had demonstrated having accomplished it in the past. It's something to go on. I don't believe Obama can "unite" people of different political factions beyond persuading them to vote for him, because he hasn't shown he can do it yet. I don't believe him on a lot of levels. Even if McCain promises something totally hare-brained, I do believe he'll do it. Cause he DOES do hare-brained sometimes. | Agree on all levels! |
