Naw. The piece makes Palin out to be a victim, which is not the image one should be promoting if you're seeking national office.
The only for Palin to dig the ticket out of the hole at this point, is to kick ass in the upcoming debate and/or kick ass in a slew of press interviews between now and the election - neither of which I believe will happen.
I really think McCain screwed the pooch when he picked Palin (I've said it here since her selection). Just imagine if McCain had done the sensible thing and picked Romney (even though he doesn't like him at all)... right now, McCain and Romney could be "the reformer" and "the proven businessman" who are gonna straighten-out this whole Wall Street fiasco, and look like saviors to a worried electorate. Instead we got Caribou Barbie, looking more and more like a reindeer in the headlights. Oy vey! (Rosh Hashana)
