At this point, it seems most think Palin might totally bomb on Thursday night. If this is true, all she needs to do is keep from being that dreadful.

If she delivers merely a sub-par performance, everyone will be so impressed they'll count it as a victory. If she actually does well (), the world will sing her praises and the ensuing Palinmania II will knock the Earth of it's axis.

The only way she "loses" is if she really is as horrendous as everyone fears she could be.
I heard this DU talking point a week ago. Thus it was said, and thus it is being portrayed.

I posted last night about my thoughts of the debate. One thing I forgot was the statement O'Biden made regarding how McCain didn't see the subprime mortgage crisis coming and Obama did see it coming two years ago. I thought it a strange statement as it is a matter of record that McCain co-sponsored a bill addressing the issue. I did try to research the statement regarding Obama trying two years ago to fix the situation. This is all I came up with.

Warning, not for those with a weak stomach:

Obama Knew His Jewish Finance Chairman Was Subprime Loan Queen! - Assata Speaks - Hands Off Assata - Let's Get Free - Revolutionary - Pan-Africanism - Black On Purpose - Liberation - Forum

Clinton campaign manager was director for failed subprime lender: The Swamp

Marathon Pundit: Another subprime headache for Obama

Emil Amok » Subprime Pritzker pure gold for Obama

I found nothing on factcheck.org either way.

Has anyone else researched this statement?
