That was not my point. I actually agree with the law BUT cannot understand why the need for it...not because it does not happen, albeit I think it is rare, but that it should not happen in the first place because giving medical care to infant born alive from an failed abortion does not in anyway affect abortion rights. **I know we have very different opinions on abortion rights but that is not the issue here**
Like I have said it is about legal rights to me. Once a person is born alive, no matter the specifics of why or how they were born, they are a legal human being and deserve medical care. This should not even be debatable, kwim?
