| I believe this type of pressure on the church is inevitable, and I believe many churches will bow to the pressure and a few will not worry about the precious tax exempt status... look at the first church in Acts, they certainly didn't have tax exempt status... exempt status is an American thing that will go away in order to get churches to conform to the world's idea of "tolerance" while not practicing tolerance toward churches. Don't let it bother you or discourage you - it will be another opportunity to separate the religionists from those of faith. |
