Yes. We are a product of our upbringing. This piece just adds to the information we have about the type of life he had growing up. He was exposed to a very left wing "blame America" lifestyle with his mom, her parents. His grandparents left Washington state because it wasn't liberal enough for them. They raised their daughter that way. She/they raised Obama that way. It's no wonder he turned to the likes of Reverend Wright et. al later on.
He was raised feeling that America was flawed. He's been groomed for this his whole life.
