i understand where you are coming from and that is true...not being with him has opened up new doors and quite possibly there is you match out there...the only thing is don't go looking for him...he will come to you. but in the meantime..have you ever said " I don't need a man!" if you have you lied. Look at you now. Get up, get dressed, and do something you want to do..your kids need you too..reach deep down, the strength you need is there.
the tantrums and stuff are just you refusing the change this has brought about..let it in and smile.
