It would seem to me she is doing something responsible.
The left is trying to distract her with ethics complaint after ethics complaint. Never mind that every single one has been dismissed as without merit - they just keep filing them. That is not in the best interest of her state. As we all said regarding Clinton, regarding Spitzer, regarding Blago, and are saying now regarding Sanford - when the person in office is a detriment to the office they serve, they need to step down.
Seems a pretty responsible thing to do, and raises her up another notch in the ethics scale, the respectability scale, the maturity scale. JMO.
