What momentum? Do you have polling data to support this claim or is it just what you are being told by the adults working on her campaign? Remember the opinions of those not able to vote mean nothing on the big polling day.
The only thing Randall is inclined to do is to continue with private meetings against the open meeting requirements for commissioner meetings. To continue to think that she is in charge when in fact all she should do is chair the meetings as the at-large member. To continue to give tax money to private entities in excess of 1.2 million dollars. The rainy day and bond rating money is gone from the 2003 budget and the undesignated reserves are declining. Seems the current commissioners (under her dictatorial tutelage) like to spend our tax money or just give it away. They also seem inclined to issue contracts to some officials that exceed their term in office thereby hindering the future commissioners ability to accomplish changes in how the county is managed.
The more I hear and learn about her the more I will be sure to vote for McKay just to get her out of office. That is unless Rocky changes his mind on the write-in campaign then I would readily vote for him. He still has a couple of weeks to do that if he chooses. But one thing for sure is that I will vote and you can bet that I won’t vote for Randall. You can also be sure that I can convince others to realize that she isn’t who we need in that position. Is this what you meant by momentum – sliding backwards?
