I wasn't aware of that. Did they respond affirmatively, and then back out the day before like the 4 Republicans? Did they proceed to slam the Board of Realtors? If they backed out on their word at the last minute, and then abused the Board of Realtors, then YES they are no better.

I would have voted 4 Republicans, but now I'm down to McKay and Mr. Softball.
Now here's where you get me! Honestly I can't speak on behalf of all the candidates but I know for certain that at least two of them declined immediately. To my understanding it was noted up front that the Republican candidates did not want to further enhance the enviroment of hate and discontent.

The decline wasn't based on a fear of the questions...These same candidates all attended the Leauge of Women voters forums and others where the audience posed questions that were answered.

The decline was simply based on the simple fact that the Democrats had launched a campaign in the Letters to the Editor to dishonestly slam and discredit their oponents.

I'll mention: The letter from Mary Ann Chasen that virtually ripped the guts out of Joe Gass for his attempts to install Library Smart Cards. She went as far to call his attempts unconstitutional.
Here's the kicker! This was not the ruling and guess what..... The Lexington Park Library is now installing these Smart cards based on meetings with Joe Gass.

Mary Ann Chasen is on the Library Board. She knew full well the intentions of the Lexington Park Library and others, when she wrote her don't vote for Joe Letter. This appeared to be a major move by the Democrats to injure an innocent and turn the tide.

The Republicans wanted no part of it and Declined. It's your vote and you are a smart guy.

The Democrats did not show at the Realtors Forum. My understanding is that they gave no notice and everyone sat around for 20 minutes waiting.

You can't rely on the press. Everyone LOVES Mr. Softball including me... How come you aren't pulling your vote for him? He declined the offer also?
