I would suggest you keep them on it year round. I have always done so with my dogs while living here--simply for the reason I stated above. JMO  |
As soon as the night temp goes above freezing - I start the preventative - but the girls are vaccinated against Lymes as well. The same goes for their heartworm preventative and so on - meaning, I start before I see mosquitoes..
