google doubleclick

Quite often when I click on the back button, nothing happens. I noticed that when this happens, the address it tries to go to is "http://googleleads.g.doubleclick.net/pagead/drt/s". It looks like it is trying to sell me something. somd is the only website I've noticed this. Is this spyware?

I'll forward this to David and he can take a look. He knows more about the Google ads stuff than I do.

A picture is worth a thousand words. The best thing to do is to do a screen capture and post it when you have an issue like this. If you have Vista or Windows 7, you can use the SNiPPING TOOL from the ACCESSORIES menu to do a screen capture.

You might have to resize the issue before the forum will allow you to upload it, or better yet, just email it to support-at-somd.com with an explanation. I rarely scan the forum posts.

It must be some kind of cookie or spyware. I get it once in a while when I click on certain obituaries and certain news items. I hear my computer click a number of times and then I know it's been loaded into my computer.

When I have to double click to go back one page, I go to internet options and delete my cookies and browsing history and everything's ok after that.

Sorry to hijack your thread but is there a way to disable the Private In Browsing some computers have? Or, a way to still see where this person went?

Everyone gets that in FireFox if you click and HOLD the button down. Click once again to make it disappear. Click QUICKLY on the back button to go back a page.
